Job Description:
Role Overview:
We are seeking a visionary UI/UX Leader with extensive hands-on experience to drive end-to-end design strategy and execution for web and mobile financial applications. As a design lead, you will shape user journeys, manage and grow the design team, and set the benchmark for design excellence within the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of UI/UX designers to deliver best-in-class digital experiences for FinTech products.
- Define and drive user experience vision and strategy aligned with business objectives and brand values.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to conceptualize, design, prototype, and validate user journeys across web and mobile platforms.
- Create and enforce design systems, UI standards, and reusable components for consistency and scalability.
- Oversee and participate in user research, usability testing, and competitor analysis to inform design decisions.
- Ensure that designs comply with financial industry standards for security, accessibility, and regulatory guidelines.
- Translate complex product requirements into intuitive, user-friendly flows, wireframes, prototypes, mockups, and visual designs.
- Present design concepts and user flows to leadership, articulating rationale and user impact.
- Continuously champion design thinking, user empathy, and innovation throughout the organization.
Key Requirements :
- 7–8 years of total professional experience in UI/UX design, of which at least 2–3 years must be in the FinTech or BFSI domain.
- Bachelor’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or related discipline.
- Strong portfolio showcasing digital product experiences, especially within financial or regulated industries.
- Deep knowledge of interaction design, visual design, information architecture, and user research methodologies.
- Mastery of design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or equivalent.
- Experience building and maintaining design systems for large-scale web and mobile apps.
- Proven experience in managing, mentoring, and growing design teams.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
- Understanding of front-end development and feasibility constraints is a plus.
- Up-to-date with the latest design trends, usability standards, and best practices in FinTech.
