Job Description:

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Electrician (Maintenance) with strong technical knowledge in Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs), crane systems, chiller units, and electric motors. The ideal candidate should be capable of handling preventive and breakdown maintenance independently in an industrial setup.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs of:

• VFD panels and systems

• Overhead and EOT cranes

• Chiller units

• Three-phase and single-phase motors

• Diagnose and resolve electrical faults in machinery and control panels

• Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals

• Ensure all electrical systems meet safety and quality standards

• Maintain records of maintenance and repair work

• Assist in installation and commissioning of new electrical equipment

• Coordinate with other technicians and maintenance staff to minimize downtime

• Follow safety procedures and ensure compliance with company standards

Required Skills and Knowledge:

• Strong knowledge of VFDs (Siemens, ABB, Schneider, etc.)

• Experience with crane electrical systems and control circuits

• Understanding of chiller electrical controls and motor systems

• Proficient in diagnosing and repairing faults in industrial equipment

• Good understanding of electrical safety standards and practices

• Ability to work independently and in a team

• Basic computer knowledge for maintenance record entry

Preferred Qualifications:

• ITI + Diploma / Diploma

• hands-on training in VFD or PLC is a plus

• Experience in manufacturing, heavy industries, or facility maintenance
