Position:        Sr. Executive - Import & Export

Location:       Daman

Experience:    8 - 10 Years

Industries:     FMCG - MNC

Responsibilities:

• Leads and maintains various compliance and duty draw back and incentive schemes in import /export function (i.e. Advance license, draw back, brand rate, MEIS, RODTEP, EPCG). Timely reviews the data arrange to file application - Review, execution and effective closure of Advance licence and other schemes.
• Personally update and maintain Advance licence and EPCG data on regular basis, reviews the balance obligation and plan to fulfil. Ensure each licence to be utilized at optimum level with minimum obligation cost (Zero duty payment at time of closure).
• Solves the issues / Queries in import exports related to various legal departments (i.e. customs/DGFT etc.) and ensures smooth clearance of material.
• Ensures maintenance of compliance data and records in soft copy and hard copies - proper storage with easy accessibility - Updated MIS and Data file
• Leads import export function, ensures smooth material movement, on time receipts of imported material and export of finished goods - On Time Delivery
• Controls the Import export Freight and Duty cost within the budget - Freight and Duty cost Vs Budget (PPV) & Freight on Sales cost
• Collects the quotes from different service provider (CHA, Shipping agents, Transport providers, Consultants) and analyse the cost, to achieve optimized cost with best service and lead time - Cost Benchmarking.
• Suggest and lead improvements in Import export function. Optimize transit lead time and Maximize the utilization of container space, optimize the cargo by clubbing the import consignment - Logistic cost (PPV)
• Review the delay in import/export goods movement, timely escalates the critical matter and provides effective solution.
