Job Description:
Position: Design Engineer
Location: Silvassa
Experience: 2 - 4 Years
Industries: Engineering
Responsibilities.
- Prepare and review technical drawings, layouts, and product designs using AutoCAD for conductor and cable manufacturing.
- Develop and update quality-related drawings, specifications, and documentation as per industry standards.
- Support the Quality department with design inputs for new product development, modifications, and process improvements.
- Ensure product designs meet required technical parameters such as strand configuration, conductor size, material grade, and mechanical/electrical properties.
- Coordinate with production, R&D, and quality teams to resolve design-related issues.
- Assist in preparing BOMs, technical datasheets, and customer documentation.
- Review customer specifications and ensure compliance with standards like IS/IEC/ASTM applicable to conductors.
- Contribute to continuous improvement projects by providing design-based solutions.
- Maintain proper control of revision histories, drawing records, and quality documentation.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D/3D) with hands-on experience in technical drawings.
- Understanding of conductor types (AAC/ACSR/AAAC) and manufacturing processes is an advantage.
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving ability, and teamwork skills.
Required Qualification: - Diploma/B.E/B.Tech - Electrical/Mechanical
