Job Description:

Position:         Quality Engineer

Location:         Palghar

Experience:     4 -7  Years

Industries:       Engineering

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and monitor in-process and final inspection of fasteners.
• Ensure compliance with DIN, ISO, ASTM, IS and customer-specific requirements.
• Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) for quality issues and implement effective Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA).
• Maintain quality documentation including inspection reports, tire cords and Certificates.
• Ensure proper calibration and usage of inspection/measuring instruments.
• Coordinate with production department to resolve quality-related concerns.
• Participate in internal and external audits (ISO 9001 and customer audits).
• Promote continuous improvement initiatives to reduce rejections and enhance Product quality.

Required Skills:

• Knowledge of ISO 9001 standards & Quality Management Systems.
• Strong understanding of fastener standards (ISO, DIN, ASTM, IS, etc.).
• Proficiency in hardness testing, visual inspection, mechanical & chemical testing.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and use precision measuring instruments.
• Good communication, leadership and team-handling skills.
• Problem-solving ability with exposure to lean/kaizen practices preferred

Required Qualification: - Diploma/B.E/B.Tech – Mechanical

Salary :- Upto 10.80 LPA
