 Job Title: Machine operator 

Experience: Minimum 3 years

Location: Mwanza, Tanzania

Job responsibilities:

• Lubricate grease to high movable parts of the machine.
• Arrange all raw material to WIP for production facilitation.
• Arrange all packaging material to WIP for production facilitation.
• Carry out daily, monthly and annual preventative Maintenance of all machines in the preform plant.
• Ensure all machines are safe and fit for the production purpose.
• Assist to Installation of new machines and related equipment.
• Fill all checklists of the machine activities on a daily basis.
• Conduct mold change of all different brands based on projected plans from management.
• Monitoring of incoming power voltages to avoid damages of electrical parts and checking main transformer condition.
• Checking critical issues like water level of the generator and oil level of LP air compressor so as to avoid damage of the said equipment.
• Actively promote safe working practices at the plant operation Work with external engineers to conquer high levels of knowledge and Coordinate with Contractors for plant activities.
• Faults of machine troubleshooting, testing, and removal of defective parts or adjustment of existing fittings fixtures and spare parts replacement.
• Where a detailed specification is not provided determines the cause of the fault and then undertakes the most cost-effective solution to remedy the defect.
• Provide daily production report, diesel consumed and power consumption.
•  Propose spare parts required for machines and utilities.
• Coordinate GMP of the plant and ensure machine is clean and neat all the time
•  Participate in mechanical activities and fabrication of new designs for machine components improvement.
