Job Description:

• Supervision and Management:

  • Supervise daily operations within the tool room, including tool issuance, return, and maintenance. 
     
  • Manage and coordinate tool room staff, if applicable. 
     
  • Ensure adherence to safety regulations and procedures. 
     
• Tool Inventory and Management:

  • Maintain accurate records of all tools and equipment, including their location, condition, and usage history. 
     
  • Implement and maintain a robust tool inventory system. 
     
  • Oversee the procurement of new tools and equipment as needed. 
     
• Tool Maintenance and Repair:

  • Ensure all tools and equipment are properly maintained and in good working condition. 
     
  • Coordinate and oversee tool repairs and maintenance activities. 
     
  • Identify and address potential maintenance needs proactively. 
     
• Safety and Compliance:

  • Implement and enforce safety procedures and regulations within the tool room. 
     
  • Conduct regular safety audits and inspections. 
     
  • Ensure compliance with relevant safety standards and regulations. 
     
• Customer Service:

  • Assist production personnel with tool requests and issues. 
     
  • Provide technical support and guidance on tool usage and maintenance.
