Job Description:

 

About the Role

The client is seeking an experienced Team Leader – Housing/Real Estate Project Management to lead government-sector residential or urban development projects. The role involves overseeing project planning, execution, monitoring, and stakeholder coordination for large-scale housing, real estate, or urban reform initiatives.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end Residential Building Consulting, Project Management, or Urban Reform Implementationassignments in the government sector.

  • Manage project scoping, planning, scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.

  • Provide strategic leadership to multi-disciplinary teams, ensuring timely delivery of project milestones.

  • Liaise with government authorities, contractors, consultants, and other project stakeholders.

  • Oversee technical documentation, project reports, progress dashboards, and compliance requirements.

  • Monitor project risks, resolve bottlenecks, and ensure adherence to quality, safety, and statutory standards.

  • Drive implementation of urban reforms, housing development frameworks, and infrastructure enhancement initiatives.

  • Lead client presentations, workshops, and review meetings.


Required Qualifications

  • B.E/B.Tech (Civil Engineering) AND

  • MBA / PGDM / Master’s in Project Planning or Construction Management from a reputed university.


Required Experience

  • Minimum 7 years of overall experience.

  • At least 2 years of a team leader experience specially in 

    • Housing Projects OR ,

    • Real Estate Project Management OR ,

    • Urban Reform Projects

  • Must have led at least one major Residential Building Consulting or Project Management assignment—preferably in the government sector.

  • Experience working with reputed consulting firms or government project implementing agencies is preferred.


Key Skills

  • Strong understanding of construction management, DPR preparation, PMC workflows, and RERA norms.

  • Excellent client management and stakeholder coordination capabilities.

  • Strong leadership, team-handling, and decision-making skills.

  • Proficiency in project planning tools is an advantage.
