Site Engineer - Powder Coating and Painting activities

Job Overview:
The Site Engineer will be responsible for supervising and coordinating coating and painting activities at the Project site, ensuring adherence to project specifications, safety standards, and quality requirements. The role involves close coordination with the site team and internal project management to ensure efficient and timely execution of work.

Key Responsibilities
• Supervise day-to-day site execution of surface preparation, painting, and coating activities.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, drawings, and QAP (Quality Assurance Plan).
• Coordinate with third-party inspectors, client representatives, and subcontractors for inspection and approval of work.
• Monitor progress, manpower deployment, material consumption, and site safety.
• Maintain daily work reports, inspection records, and documentation as per project requirements.
• Support quality and safety audits at the site, ensuring corrective actions are implemented.
• Assist in resolving technical or execution issues in coordination with the Project and QA/QC teams.
• Participate in site meetings and report progress updates to the Project Manager.
Qualifications & Experience
• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical / Civil Engineering (preferred Mechanical).
• Minimum 2–5 years of experience in industrial painting or protective coating projects.
• Familiar with surface preparation standards (SA / SSPC / ISO) and coating application procedures.
• Working knowledge of QA/QC documentation, ITPs, and NACE/SSPC inspection practices.
• Experience in EPC / refinery / petrochemical / oil & gas projects preferred.
• Strong communication, leadership, and coordination skills.
Additional Requirements
• Willingness to work at the project site for extended durations.
• Knowledge of safety practices and site work culture in EPC environments.
• Proficiency in MS Office and basic reporting tools.
