Job Description:

Designation: Manger Production
Role:
a. Assisting in preparing production schedules and timelines
b. Estimating the costs of the production process, raw materials, and other equipment
c. Ensuring that the quality and company standards are met
Coordinating with the team members to ensure the production process is completed
on time
d. Checking the inventory and placing orders for raw materials
e. Handling any customer queries
f. Addressing any production disputes and diverting the urgent ones to the Production
Manager
g. Creating and maintaining a report of the production status
h. Assisting in hiring and training new team members
i. Ensuring that all safety and health procedures are followed at all times
j. Reviewing the production budget and suggesting improvement measures
 Manufacturing Plan & Manufacturing Execution- In order to fulfil the execution of
production
a) Execute the given production plan as per PPC plan for the shift.
b) Feed the jobs to next customer with proper quality and quantity.
c) Communicate with internal suppliers and internal customers to achieve smooth
production flow
d) Execute the process as per the control plan
 Product quality - in order to meet the set quality standards.
a. Implement & monitor adherence of the quality standards as per control plan.
b. Ensure leakage proof and damage proof product delivery to next customer.
c. Process Audits as per process control plan.
 Cost control- In order to reduce costs of consumables, inventory etc.
a. Shift wise tracking of Rework & Rejection.
 People Management- in order to develop employees.
a. Maintain discipline.
b. Implementation of new requirement through proper communication if any
c. Labor efficiency control
d. Multiskilling - 1:3- 1 process should be known by 3 person & 3:1 3 processes
should be known by 1 person
 TQM
a. Daily work management
b. Process Audit
c. 5s / 6S audit in section.
d. Daily TPM activity on each machine i.e. machine cleaning & tagging.

 EHS Responsibilities
a. Review and update aspect, HIRA study in all the process
b. Implement the operational controls for Significant aspects, Hazard and risk
c. Analyze any NC raised during internal and external audit with root cause,
correction, corrective action and monitor the effectiveness of action taken
d. Analyze any Incident/Accident happened in Shop floor with root cause, correction,
corrective action and monitor the effectiveness of action taken
e. Identify the continual improvement in the process and improvement required in
process
f. Take accountability for the prevention of work-related injury and ill health, as well
as the provision of safe and healthy workplaces and activities;
g. Identify the resources needed to establish, implement, maintain and improve the
EMS,OH&S management system are available
h. protecting workers from reprisals when reporting incidents, hazards, risks and
opportunities
i. Participate in Consultation and participation and discussing safety issues in work
place
j. Monitor the Hazardous and Non-Hazardous waste management and dispose as
per procedure
k. Implement Reuse concept of any material considering the life cycle perspective of
environment
l. Implement Legal requirements for both EHS in the processes
m. Avoid IP complaints and avoid deviation related to EHS Aspects
n. identifying Mear miss and unsafe condition reporting in the work place
 EDUCATION: BE/ B-Tech-Mechanical.
 WORK EXPERIENCE: 10-15 Years overall experience in the production.
 SKILLS:
a) Excellent project management skills
b) Proven track record of successfully training employees in productivity and safety
c) Working knowledge of OSHA and EMS regulations
d) Ability to coach and mentor employees on a one-on-one basis as well as a group.
e) Effectively and efficiently manage the production of the required
daily/weekly/monthly targets in line with customer specifications, meeting quality
and delivery expectations, minimizing costs where possible and ensure the required
best working practices are maintained at all times.
f) Extensive plant level experience with significant proven supervisory experience
g) Technical understanding
h) Understanding of Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP), Kaizen, lean
manufacturing
i) Experience of managing Profit & Loss responsibilities for manufacturing
j) Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office
k) Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP-SAP) systems experience.
l) Understanding of Aspect and impact, HIRA for the process and communicate to all
levels of employees
m) Understanding of waste management and implement as per procedure
n) Understanding of Legal and other requirements.
o) Analyzing skill for NCs, Incident/Accident in the work place
p) Take action for identifying Near miss and unsafe condition reporting
