Engineer / Manager (Electrical)

Job Description:

General Purpose of this role:
 To be complete in-charge & responsible for PILLER DRUPS and static UPS plant
operation & maintenance including routine, preventive and schedule maintenance
activities and troubleshooting. The candidate must have hands-on experience with
PILLER DRUPS UBTD, Power bridge and Cummins engine coupled with Motor-Generator
with SSS Clutch assembly.
 Key responsible for position: 
 Ensure operation and maintenance of Piller make PILLER DRUPS and static UPS
(capacity of Rotary UPS 1670 KVA to 2500 KVA both LT & HT).
 Ensure operation and maintenance of power bridge (Energy storage module), clutch
assembly and Cummins QSK series DG Sets.
 Ensuring max availability of PILLER DRUPS and auxiliary equipment's.
 Carry out fault analysis, troubleshooting and corrective maintenance to improve
availability & reliability.
 Co-ordinate with Piller India & Germany representatives for technical support and
required upgradation etc.
 Knowledge of using Piller diagnostic tools and software like TERM++, Cummins In-
power lite.
 Knowledge on Piller UPS Power System Circuits; Electronics, their operation /
maintenance / repair.
 Knowledge of latest UPS technical Developments/modifications/improvements.
 Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance plant availability, reliability &
system efficiency.
 Develop the operational working routines at the plant.
 Follow all maintenance procedures according to OEM standards.
 Train operational & maintenance procedures and standards for the new team
members / workers.
 Maintain documentation, like logbook, checklist and daily/monthly reports and
technical specifications of equipment’s.
 Communicate with the plant management about the status of the plant.
 Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders for timely
procurement of spare parts and system components and maintaining of required
inventory for smooth operation of UPS.
 Ensure that the work is executed at plant according to our plant Quality, Health,
Safety and Environmental guidelines and procedures.
 MS Office Computer proficiency
 Knowledge about OHSAS 18001

As an ideal candidate, you will have following qualifications: -
 The candidate should be a Graduate or Diploma Electrical engineer having 5-10 years
of experience in the PILLER DRUPS or Static UPS electrical systems preferable.
 A BTech/BE/DEE qualification is mandatory with relevant experience.
 C-certificate of competency is preferable.
