A CNC Operator sets up, operates, and maintains Computer Numerical Control machines to produce precision parts, involving reading blueprints, loading materials, writing/loading programs, monitoring production, performing quality checks (using instruments like calipers), troubleshooting issues
Key Responsibilities:
- Machine Setup: Load tools, fixtures, and materials, ensuring correct calibration and alignment.
- Operation: Run CNC/VMC/HMC machines to drill, mill, cut, or shape parts according to specs.
- Programming: Input and adjust machine programs (G-code) and offsets for precise cuts.
