Roles & Responsibilities
Handle end-to-end import and export documentation and procedures.
Prepare and verify shipping documents such as Invoice, Packing List, Bill of Lading, Airway Bill, Certificate of Origin, and Insurance.
Coordinate with customs agents, freight forwarders, transporters, and shipping lines.
Ensure compliance with DGFT, Customs, GST, and other government regulations.
Track shipments and ensure timely delivery of goods.
Calculate duties, taxes, freight, and landed cost.
Manage LC (Letter of Credit), bank documentation, and payment follow-ups.
Maintain records of imports, exports, and statutory documents.
Communicate with overseas suppliers and customers regarding shipments and documentation.
Resolve shipment delays, customs issues, and discrepancies.
Assist in audits and regulatory inspections related to import/export activities.
Skills & Requirements
Good knowledge of import–export procedures and documentation.
Familiarity with HS codes, INCOTERMS, customs clearance, and logistics.
Working knowledge of GST, Customs Act, and DGFT rules.
Strong coordination and communication skills.
Proficiency in MS Excel, ERP systems, and email communication.
Ability to handle multiple shipments and meet deadlines
