Job Summary

We are looking for a Production Planning & Control (PPC) Executive with strong IT and analytical skills to support production planning, scheduling, and coordination activities in a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment. The role involves ensuring smooth production flow, optimal resource utilization, and adherence to GMP and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Function as part of the independent PPC department, coordinating closely with Production, Stores, Materials/Purchase, and Management.

• Prepare and issue production requisitions after checking:

  • Availability of raw materials and packing materials

  • Product requirements as per the approved production plan

• Develop and maintain production plans and schedules in alignment with demand and inventory levels.

• Prepare and analyze batch yield data and submit reports as required.

• Coordinate with the Purchase / Materials Department to ensure timely availability of required inputs.

• Follow up with Stores for timely issue of materials to production.

• Coordinate with the Production Department to ensure:

  • Timely execution of production plans

  • Availability of finished products as per schedule

• Monitor production progress and address deviations proactively.

• Prepare and submit periodic reports to Management on production status, material availability, and planning performance.

• Maintain accurate records and documentation as per pharma industry standards.

Qualification & Skills:

• Qualification: B. Pharma (mandatory)

• Technical Skills:

  • Strong computer knowledge

  • Proficiency in MS Excel

  • Hands-on experience with ERP / SAP or similar systems

• Good coordination, communication, and follow-up skills.

• Prior experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing planning will be preferred.

Candidate Requirement:

• Candidate must have hands-on PPC experience in a Pharma company.

• Should be well-versed with end-to-end production planning, material coordination, and reporting.
