Area Sales Manager

Job Description:

• Sales Forecasting to provide a roadmap for future revenue of the company.
• New area development by thorough market research to pinpoint demographic trends, lifestyle preferences, and economic capabilities within the surrounding region.
• Meeting and exceeding sales targets for the assigned areas in the specific state.
• Building a strong sales team of marketing executives and monitoring their performance.
• Analyzing market trends and competition to identify growth opportunities.
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with key accounts.
• Identify knowledge gaps within the team and provide periodic training for the team members.
• Generate reports on the performance of individual team members and motivating them.
• Preparing regular reports and participating in regular meetings to review performance and identify areas of improvement.
• Ensure collection as per payment terms with customers.
• Building customer relationships.
• Willingness to travel extensively.
• Stay in regular contact with dealers and distributors.
• Handling market returns / customer complaints.
• Assign sales territory and set sales quotas to the marketing executives.
• Review performance of the marketing executives and identify areas of improvement.
• Organizing training for the marketing executives.
• Approve travel plans of the marketing executives.
