Job Description:

We are hiring a Training & Development Executive / Officer in Ahmedabad.

Training & Development Executive / Officer

Department :Human Resources (HR)

 

Key Responsibilities

Identify training needs through performance appraisals, skill gap analysis, and discussions with department heads

Develop and implement training plans and annual training calendars

Organize onboarding and induction programs for new employees

Conduct or coordinate technical, behavioral, soft skills, and compliance training

Arrange internal and external training programs, workshops, and seminars

Prepare and maintain training materials, presentations, manuals, and SOPs

Maintain training records, attendance sheets, and feedback reports

Evaluate training effectiveness through assessments, feedback, and performance tracking

Coordinate with trainers, vendors, and consultants

Support leadership development and succession planning initiatives

Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory training requirements (safety, POSH, ISO, etc.)

Prepare training MIS reports and present analysis to management

Promote a continuous learning culture across the organization

Working Conditions & Expectations

Coordinate training programs across departments and locations

May require occasional travel for training sessions

Flexible to conduct training beyond normal working hours if required

Required Skills & Competencies

Strong communication, presentation, and facilitation skills

Knowledge of learning & development principles and adult learning methods

Ability to assess training needs and measure ROI of training programs

Good planning, coordination, and organizational skills

Proficiency in MS Office, LMS platforms, and ERP systems

Analytical and reporting skills

Educational Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in:

Human Resources

Psychology

Business Administration

Learning & Development

Certification in Training & Development / L&D is an added advantage

Experience

1–5 years of experience in Training & Development or HR
