Job Description:

Role Objective
To manage and control accounting and financial operations in a manufacturing environment,
ensuring accurate financial reporting, cost control, statutory and tax compliance, and providing
financial insights to support plant operations and management decisions.

Key Responsibilities
Manufacturing Accounting & Finance
• Manage day-to-day accounting operations related to manufacturing activities
• Maintain accurate books of accounts including inventory, WIP, RM, FG, and cost records
• Monitor and reconcile production-related expenses and overheads
• Support cost accounting, product costing, and margin analysis
• Ensure proper accounting of CAPEX, fixed assets, depreciation, and asset capitalization

Compliance & Taxation
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, GST, Income Tax, TDS, and other statutory
requirements applicable to manufacturing units
• Manage GST compliance related to inward and outward supplies, job work, and exports
(if applicable)
• Coordinate with statutory authorities, auditors, and consultants
• Ensure timely statutory filings and returns

Audit & Reporting
• Support statutory, internal, and cost audits and provide necessary documentation
• Prepare financial statements, audit schedules, and MIS reports
• Handle audit queries related to inventory valuation, costing, and production expenses

Budgeting, Controls & Analysis
• Assist in preparation of annual budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis
• Monitor manufacturing costs and support cost control and efficiency initiatives
• Analyze plant-wise and product-wise profitability
• Monitor cash flow, working capital, and inventory turnover

Business & Plant Support
• Work closely with production, stores, and procurement teams for financial controls
• Support management in financial planning, decision-making, and performance
evaluation
• Contribute to continuous improvement of finance processes within the manufacturing
setup

Educational Qualification
• Chartered Accountant (CA)
