Travel Consultant/SME (Voice)
Job Description:
We are looking for dynamic Senior Executive/Travel Consultants (Subject Matter Expert) to join our International Travel Voice process. In this role, you will be the primary point of contact for global customers, managing end-to-end travel requirements including bookings, cancellations, and complex amendments via phone, email, and chat.
The ideal candidate must possess hands-on expertise in GDS systems and have a strong background in international travel sales or customer support.
Required Work Experience & Technical Skills

Experience: Minimum 1.5 year of core experience in the travel industry.

GDS Expertise: Mandatory hands-on experience in GDS (Sabre, Galileo preferable); must be proficient in travel booking commands.

Communication: High proficiency in spoken and written English, Must qualify for the CEF (Common European Framework) assessment for communication with score of B1-5 level or above score.

Technical Savvy: Knowledge of MS-Excel and general computer proficiency.
Qualifying Criteria

Education: Any Graduation, Degree/Diploma in Travel will be added advantage

Employment Gap: Candidates should not have a career gap exceeding 6 months from their last employment. Also you should have all employment documents for recent last 2 employment for BGV Check.
Key Responsibilities

Booking & Reservations: Handle real-time requests for air, hotel, car rentals, ferry, and limo services.

GDS Management: Use Amadeus, Sabre or Galileo to issue tickets, perform re-issuances, and manage cancellations.

Customer Support (Voice): Deliver exceptional service by resolving travel-related queries and providing itinerary consultations over the phone.

Data Accuracy: Maintain precise records of transactions and guest interactions using MS-Excel and internal CRM tools.
