- Perform number of highly important roles - responsible for research, planning and implementing new

- New product development and smooth transfer of technical knowhow to other user departments of

- Up gradation of running products
- Cost reduction
- Improvements in plant operations
- Competitor product analysis and development of equivalent products
- Business development of running products and new products
- Good coordination with all departments of plant and marketing
- Addressing quality problems during product manufacture
- Attending customer complaints
