Job Description:
Job Title: Dealer – Global Equity Markets
Location: GIFT City, Gandhinagar
Department: Dealing
Role Overview:
The Dealer will be responsible for executing trades in global equity markets across multiple exchanges and time zones. The role requires a deep understanding of international markets, trading platforms, order management systems, and compliance with regulatory frameworks applicable to GIFT City entities.
Key Responsibilities:

Execute buy/sell orders in global equity markets as per portfolio manager’s instructions and investment strategy.

Monitor global market movements, liquidity, and trading volumes to ensure efficient execution.

Manage order flow across multiple exchanges (US, Europe, Asia, etc.) and coordinate with brokers and custodians.

Ensure trades are executed within approved limits and in compliance with internal risk and compliance policies.

Maintain real-time trade records and prepare daily trade and position reports.

Support portfolio managers with market insights, order analytics, and trade cost analysis.

Stay updated with macroeconomic developments, corporate actions, and market news impacting global equities.

Coordinate with operations, compliance, and risk teams for trade settlements and reporting.

Participate in system testing, trade automation, and process improvements.
Required Skills & Qualifications:

Graduate / Postgraduate in Finance, Commerce, or related field.

NISM Series VII (Securities Operations and Risk Management) or equivalent certification preferred.

2–5 years of dealing experience, preferably in global equity markets or GIFT City environment.

Strong knowledge of equity instruments, market microstructure, and order types.

Hands-on experience with OMS/EMS platforms like Bloomberg, Refinitiv, or Interactive Brokers.

Excellent numerical, analytical, and decision-making skills.

Strong communication and coordination abilities to work with global counterparts.

Willingness to work in flexible shifts to cover global market hours.
