CK INSTO Pvt. Ltd. is looking for a dynamic and responsible Production Supervisor / Team Leader to manage shop-floor operations, lead a production team, and ensure timely assembly and delivery of machines as per engineering specifications. The role combines hands-on supervision with team leadership and coordination responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

Production & Assembly

 Understand, interpret, and explain engineering drawings and assembly layouts to the team.

 Supervise and guide the team during machine assembly, fabrication, and fitting activities.

 Ensure machines are assembled as per approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.

Team Leadership & Manpower Management

 Lead, manage, and motivate a team of 6–7 technicians/workers.

 Allocate daily tasks and monitor individual and team productivity.

 Maintain discipline, safety, and a positive work environment on the shop floor.

Project & Time Management

 Take full ownership of assigned projects and ensure completion within committed timelines.

 Monitor progress, identify delays or bottlenecks, and implement corrective actions.

 Coordinate with the Production Manager for planning, priority setting, and resource allocation.

Coordination & Communication

 Coordinate with design, purchase, stores, and quality teams for smooth execution of projects.

 Ensure timely availability of materials, tools, and manpower.

 Communicate project status, issues, and progress updates to management.

Quality & Safety

 Ensure adherence to quality standards, work instructions, and safety norms.

 Assist in inspection, testing, and trial runs of machines.

 Support corrective and preventive actions to improve product quality and productivity.

Documentation & Reporting

 Maintain basic production records, job cards, and daily/weekly progress reports.

 Support management during audits, internal reviews, and continuous improvement activities.

Required Skills & Qualifications

 Diploma / ITI / BE in Mechanical, Electrical, or related engineering field.

 2–5 years of experience in production supervision, assembly, or team leadership roles.

 Strong ability to read and interpret engineering and assembly drawings.

 Good leadership, communication, and manpower management skills.

 Ability to work independently and take ownership of responsibilities.

 Basic understanding of quality systems and shop-floor safety practices.

Working Hours

 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM (Flexible depending on production load, deadlines, and project requirements)

Additional Information

 Hands-on attitude and willingness to support the team on the shop floor when required.

 Experience with industrial machines, testing equipment, or custom-built machinery will be an added advantage.
