Job Description:

Industry: Interior Turnkey Project Management
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Commerce, or related field.
experience in construction/interior industry preferred

About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented and responsible Accountant to manage and monitor all financial activities related to our interior turnkey project sites. The ideal candidate will handle day-to-day accounts, track site expenses, manage vendor payments, and support accurate project costing. This role requires strong accountability, accuracy, and the ability to coordinate with site teams.

Key Responsibilities

1. Site Expense Management

Record daily site expenses with proper bills and documentation.

Verify and approve expense submissions from site supervisors.

Maintain petty cash and ensure timely reimbursement cycles.

Track material purchases, labour payments, and contractor expenses.


2. Project Costing & Reporting

Prepare project-wise expense reports and cost summaries.

Assist in budget planning and monitor deviations from allocated budgets.

Maintain MIS reports for management.

Reconcile site expenses with actual project progress.


3. Vendor & Contractor Management

Process vendor invoices and verify quantities with site teams.

Track advances given to vendors and ensure timely settlement.

Maintain a database of vendor bills, payment schedules, and outstanding liabilities.


4. Accounts & Compliance

Maintain company books of accounts in Tally / Zoho / QuickBooks (as applicable).

Support monthly closing, GST entries, and basic compliance documentation.

Assist in preparing audit documents when required.


5. Coordination & Communication

Coordinate with project managers, procurement team, and site supervisors.

Provide timely financial information to management.

Ensure transparency and accuracy in all financial records.

Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Commerce, or related field.

1–4 years of experience in accounts (experience in construction/interior industry preferred).

Working knowledge of Tally / Zoho Books / Excel.

Strong attention to detail and accountability.

Ability to handle multiple sites and manage financial discipline.

Good communication and documentation skills.
