Job Description:

Position:          Purchase & Accounts - Assistant

Location:          Vapi

Experience:       2 - 5 Years

Industries:        Infrastructure

Responsibilities:

• Procurement / Purchase
• Source and procure construction materials, machinery, tools, consumables and services as per site requirements.
• Create & process purchase requisitions, comparative statements, and purchase orders.
• Evaluate supplier rates, delivery schedules, payment terms & material quality.
• Maintain & update approved vendor list for different material categories.
• Coordinate with site engineers, storekeepers & vendors for timely dispatch and delivery.
• Follow up on pending orders, shortages, dispatch delays, and replacement of defective materials.
• Keep accurate purchase records and vendor correspondence.
• Accounts / Finance
• Verify vendor bills, purchase orders, GRNs (Goods Receipt Notes), and delivery challans before posting.
• Coordinate with finance for timely vendor payments and advance payment tracking.
• Assist in GST invoice verification, TDS applicability & tax documentation.
• Reconcile vendor ledger on a monthly basis and resolve outstanding dues or disputes.
• Assist in monthly closing activities relating to purchase and expenses.

Required Skills

• Proficiency in Tally ERP, MS Excel & email drafting.
• Understanding of GST, TDS, invoicing & material billing cycle.
• Strong negotiation skills, vendor management & record-keeping abilities.

Required Qualification: - Any Graduation

Salary :- Upto 4.20 LPA
