Service Engineer

Job Description:

 urgently looking for a dynamic, experienced and dependable Electrical Site Engineer who can independently handle industrial electrical project sites and associated responsibilities.

1) Educational Qualification

• Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical Engineering
• Strong fundamentals in Electrical Power Systems preferred

2) Experience Requirement

• Minimum 3 to 6 years of relevant site experience
• Prior experience in industrial electrical projects is mandatory
• Experience in EPC / contracting firms will be preferred

3) Core Technical Competency (Must Have)

Candidate must be practically sound in the following:

• HT & LT electrical systems (33kV / 22kV / 11kV / 415V)
  • Installation, testing & commissioning of: LT / HT Panels (PCC, MCC, APFC, VCB, RMU)
  • Transformers
  • Electric Motors
  • Cable laying, glanding & termination
  • Earthing & lightning protection systems
  • Ability to read & understand: Single Line Diagrams (SLD)
  • Layout drawings
  • BOQ & basic technical specifications
• Knowledge of basic electrical safety practices & site discipline

 4) Practical Intelligence & Common Sense (Very Important)

We are specifically looking for a candidate who:

• Has strong logical thinking & on-site decision-making ability
• Can handle real-life site challenges, not just theoretical work
• Can plan daily work activities and coordinate manpower
• Understands priorities, safety, material usage & site timelines

 5) Site Management & Coordination

• Ability to independently handle complete site responsibility
  • Coordination with: Client representatives Consultants Vendors Labour & technicians
• Daily site reporting, progress tracking & issue escalation

  6) Software & Documentation Skills

• Basic to intermediate MS Excel (measurements, BOQ & BOM tracking)
  • Ability to prepare: Daily progress reports
  • Material requirement lists
  • Site observations / punch points
  • AutoCAD knowledge will be an added advantage

7) Personal Attributes (Mandatory)

• Honest, responsible & disciplined
• Willing to take ownership of site activities
• Good communication (Marathi + Hindi + basic English)
• Physically fit for site work
• Willing to travel / stay at project locations if required

8) Other Requirements

• Valid two-wheeler driving license
• Immediate or short notice period preferred
• Salary: As per experience & capability (no bar for the right candidate)
