Job Title: Sales Head – PET & Preform Division

Location: Tanzania (East Africa)

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Sales Head to lead and grow the PET & Preform business in Tanzania and neighboring East African markets. The role involves driving sales strategy, managing key accounts, developing new markets, and leading a high-performing sales team to achieve revenue and profitability targets.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute sales strategies for PET bottles, preforms, and packaging solutions

• Lead business development across Beverage, FMCG, Edible Oil, Water, CSD, and Pharma sectors

• Manage key customers, distributors, and channel partners

• Identify new market opportunities and expand regional footprint in East Africa

• Negotiate commercial contracts, pricing, and long-term supply agreements

• Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer requirements

• Achieve annual sales, volume, and margin targets

• Build, mentor, and manage the sales team

• Coordinate with production, supply chain, and finance teams for order execution

• Prepare sales forecasts, MIS reports, and monthly performance reviews

Candidate Profile

• Minimum 10–12 years of sales experience in PET / Preform / Plastic Packaging

• Proven experience in African or emerging markets preferred

• Strong network with Beverage, FMCG, and Packaging customers

• Excellent negotiation, leadership, and communication skills

• Ability to work independently and manage P&L responsibility

• Willingness to relocate and travel extensively within East Africa

Qualification

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Packaging, Marketing, or Business

• MBA / PGDM (Sales & Marketing) preferred
