A Fitter (Drilling/Fitting) assembles, installs, maintains, and repairs mechanical equipment, focusing on drilling machinery, using hand/power tools, interpreting blueprints, performing precise fitting, drilling, and welding
- Assembly & Installation: Fit and assemble structural components and machinery using tools like drills, saws, files, and welding equipment.
- Maintenance & Repair: Perform routine checks, diagnose issues, troubleshoot breakdowns, and replace damaged parts on drilling rigs and other mechanical systems.
