A CNC/VMC Operator sets up, operates, and maintains Computer Numerical Control (CNC) and Vertical Machining Center (VMC) machines to produce precise parts, involving blueprint interpretation, machine programming/setup
- Setup & Programming: Load tools, materials, and programs; set up machine parameters (offsets, speeds) for each job.
- Operation: Run machines (milling, drilling, cutting) and make adjustments as needed.
