Job Description:
Job Title: Production Supervisor / Production Engineer
Department: Production (Heat Exchanger / Coil Shop)
Location: (Manjusar / Karjan)
Industry: HVAC / Heat Exchanger Manufacturing (Preferred)
Roles & Responsibilities
1) Operate, monitor, and troubleshoot Fin Press machines; diagnose technical faults and
handle breakdowns to minimize downtime.
2) Operate Hairpin Bending Machines (YHM, JDM, KORAN, COLIGO) and ensure stable
output through correct settings, tooling, and process adherence.
3) Coordinate corrective and preventive maintenance activities for Fin Press and Hairpin
Bending machines in collaboration with the maintenance team; support root cause
analysis and implementation of permanent countermeasures.
4) Manage Heat Exchanger / Coil Shop line operations, ensuring daily production targets
are achieved with required quality and safety standards.
5) Work on Vertical Expander and other machines used in HE lines; ensure correct
machine parameters and adherence to coil manufacturing processes.
6) Identify process deviations, quality issues, and bottlenecks; implement improvements
to enhance productivity, reduce rejection, and improve OEE.
7) Supervise and lead a team of operators and shop-floor workers; allocate manpower,
provide on-job guidance, and ensure discipline and adherence to SOPs.
8) Prepare and maintain production records, downtime reports, and daily output
tracking using MS Excel/Office tools; share regular updates with reporting managers.
9) Ensure compliance with safety guidelines, 5S, and shop-floor best practices.
Skills & Qualifications
- I.T.I / Diploma / BE / BTech in Mechanical / Production / Industrial Engineering (or
relevant discipline).
- Hands-on experience in Fin Press machine operation and troubleshooting.
- Strong working knowledge of Hairpin Bending machine operations (YHM, JDM, KORAN,
COLIGO).
- Understanding of Heat Exchanger / Coil Shop line operations and coil manufacturing
process.
- Working knowledge of preventive and corrective maintenance coordination; ability to
support breakdown analysis.
- Proficiency in MS Office, especially MS Excel and basic reporting/documentation.
- Leadership capability to manage operators/workers; strong analytical, problem-
solving, and target-oriented mindset.
- Good communication skills and ability to work in a production environment.
Preferred / Added Advantage
- Operating knowledge of Amada (Turret), CNC Bending Machine, Automatic Hairpin
Bending Machine, and T-Drill Machine.
Experience
- Preferably having experience of 2–6 years in Heat Exchanger / Coil manufacturing or
similar manufacturing setup.
