Job Description:
Core Responsibilities

Policy Management:Create, update, and enforce HR policies, procedures, and the Employee Handbook in line with federal, state, and local laws.

Regulatory Monitoring:Stay current on employment laws (wage/hour, anti-discrimination, leave laws, etc.) and assess their impact on the organization.

Training & Education:Develop and deliver training for managers and employees on compliance topics, new regulations, and ethical conduct.

Record Keeping:Ensure accurate, secure, and compliant maintenance of employee records, including I-9s and E-Verify.

Reporting & Auditing:Prepare compliance reports (EEO-1, etc.), manage internal audits, and respond to external requests.

Risk Mitigation:Advise leadership and HR teams on potential compliance risks, ensuring fair and equitable treatment for all employees.
