GC-MS/MS Analyst

Job Description:

• Sample Analysis: Performing analysis of routine samples including food, pharma, Ayush (traditional medicine products), water, and soil for parameters like pesticide residues and aflatoxins using GC-MS/MS and LC-MS/MS instruments.
• Instrument Operation & Maintenance: Operating, calibrating, and performing routine maintenance and troubleshooting on GC-MS/MS and other instruments like GC, HPLC, and LC-MS/MS.
• Documentation and Compliance: Preparing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Standard Testing Procedures (STPs), validation reports, and maintaining meticulous records and logbooks. The role requires ensuring compliance with regulatory bodies like NABL, APEDA, EIC, FSSAI, and GLP guidelines.
• Method Development & Validation: Conducting method development and validation for residual analysis in various matrices as per international guidelines (e.g., ICH, Food guidelines).
• Quality Assurance: Adhering to strict QA/QC requirements, reviewing data, handling Out-of-Specification (OOS) results, and managing analytical data for audits.
• Collaboration & Training: Coordinating with lab chemists, reporting findings to the department head, and potentially providing training to trainees or junior staff.
