Onsite Opportunity for SAP Techno- Functional consultant (ABAP + MM Module) in Vadodara

Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain SAP ABAP programs, reports, interfaces, and enhancements.
• Work on SAP MM configuration, procurement processes, inventory management, and material master data.
• Collaborate with functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Perform debugging, troubleshooting, and performance optimization of ABAP programs.
• Support end-to-end SAP MM processes including Purchase Requisition, Purchase Order, Goods Receipt, and Invoice Verification.
• Ensure compliance with SAP best practices and organizational standards.
• Provide technical and functional support during SAP upgrades, patches, and implementations.

Qualification:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
• SAP certification in ABAP and/or MM (preferred but not mandatory).
• 2–3 years of hands-on experience in both SAP ABAP and SAP MM

Deliverables of the role:

• Development of custom reports, interfaces, enhancements, and forms (RICEF objects).
• Creation and maintenance of ABAP programs, SmartForms, and ALV reports.
• Implementation of user exits, BADIs, and enhancements for business processes.
• Debugging and performance optimization of ABAP code.
• Development of integration solutions between SAP modules and external systems.
• Documentation of technical specifications and development processes.
• Configuration of MM module for procurement and inventory management.
• Setup and maintenance of material master data, vendor master, and purchasing info records.
• Implementation of pricing procedures and release strategies.
• Support for end-to-end procurement cycle (PR, PO, GR, Invoice Verification).
• Testing and validation of MM processes during upgrades or new implementations.
• Preparation of functional specifications for ABAP developments related to MM.
• Resolution of incidents and service requests related to ABAP and MM.
• Root cause analysis and troubleshooting for MM and ABAP-related issues.
• Regular system health checks and performance monitoring.
• User training and documentation for MM processes and custom developments.
• Resolution of incidents and service requests related to ABAP and MM.

Technical Competencies/Skills:

SAP ABAP:

• Expertise in Reports, SmartForms, ALV, BAPIs, BADIs, User Exits, and Enhancements.
• Experience with Data Dictionary, Performance Tuning, and Debugging.
• Knowledge of OOPs in ABAP and ABAP on HANA (preferred).

SAP MM:

• Strong understanding of Procurement Cycle, Inventory Management, and Material Master.
• Hands-on experience in MM configuration and integration with other SAP modules.
• Knowledge of pricing procedures, release strategies, and vendor management.
