Accountant
Job Description:
We are looking for an Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting operations for our jewellery business. The role is open to freshers with strong accounting fundamentals as well as experienced candidates who can independently handle accounts, compliance, and reporting.
Key Responsibilities

Maintain books of accounts including sales, purchases, expenses, and journal entries

Handle GST accounting, returns, and reconciliations

Manage bank reconciliation statements (BRS)

Track receivables, payables, and vendor payments
-
Maintain inventory accounting related to jewellery stock

Prepare basic MIS and financial reports
-
Coordinate with CA for audits, filings, and compliance
-
Ensure proper documentation and record keeping
Candidate Requirements
For Freshers:
-
B.Com / M.Com / BBA (Finance) or equivalent
-
Strong basics of accounting principles
-
Willingness to learn GST, compliance, and retail accounting
For Experienced Candidates (2–4 Years):
-
Hands-on experience in accounting and taxation
-
Experience in retail or jewellery accounting preferred

Ability to independently handle GST, TDS, and daily accounts

Experience working with CAs and auditors

MS Excel (basic to intermediate)
