Estimation Engineer - Vadodara (Chhani Area)

Job Description:

Responsibilities:

  Analysing Project Requirements             : Thoroughly reviewing project plans, specifications, and other documentation to understand the scope of work and identify necessary resources. 

1. Cost Estimation                                              : Calculating the total cost of a project, including materials, labour, equipment, and other expenses. 
2. Developing Detailed Estimates                 : Creating comprehensive cost breakdowns, often including a "bill of materials" and labour hour estimates. 
3. Collaborating with Teams                           : Working with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to gather information, refine estimates, and ensure alignment with project goals. 
4. Risk Assessment                                            : Identifying potential risks that could impact project costs and incorporating them into the estimate. 
5. Presenting Estimates                                    : Clearly communicating cost estimates to relevant parties, including clients and management, and providing justifications for the figures. 
6. Updating and Maintaining Databases     : Keeping cost databases and other estimation tools up-to-date with current material prices, labour rates, and other relevant information. 
7. Improving Estimation Processes               : Continuously evaluating and refining estimation methodologies to enhance accuracy and efficiency. 
8. Supporting Sales and Business Dev.        : Providing technical insights and cost information to support sales efforts and proposal development. 
9. Value Engineering                                         : Identifying opportunities to optimize project costs without compromising quality or functionality.
