Job Description – Assembly Executive (Injection Moulding Machines)

Department: Assembly / Production
Reports To: Assembly Manager / Production Head 

Key Roles & Responsibilities:

• Assemble injection moulding machines and sub-assembliesas per approved engineering drawings, BOMs, and assembly instructions.
• Ensure accurate fitting, alignment, and installationof machine components including clamping units, barrels, screws, heaters, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, pumps, valves, and auxiliary equipment.
• Coordinate with Design, Tool Room, and Production teamsto identify and resolve assembly-related issues.
• Inspect components before, during, and after assemblyto ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Conduct functional checks, dry runs, and assist in machine testing and trial runs.
• Maintain assembly tools, fixtures, measuring instruments, and equipmentin proper working condition.
• Follow safety guidelines, SOPs, and 5S practicesto ensure a safe and organized work environment.
• Report defects, delays, deviations, or material shortagesto the supervisor or manager in a timely manner.
• Support continuous improvement initiativesaimed at increasing assembly efficiency and reducing rework.
• Maintain accurate assembly records, checklists, and documentationas per company procedures.

Required Skills & Competencies:

• Strong understanding of mechanical assembly processesrelated to injection moulding machines.
• Knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, and basic electrical systems.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and assembly layouts.
• Hands-on experience with assembly tools and measuring instruments.
• Attention to detail with a strong focus on quality and safety.
• Good teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills.
