Job Description:
  • Execute daily production plans for needle bearing assembly lines as per schedule.
  • Monitor and control critical process parameters such as interference fits, cage loading, needle filling, and end-play settings.
  • Ensure quality standards are met through in-process checks, visual inspections, and torque/load testing.
  • Support setup and changeover of machines and fixtures to reduce downtime.
  • Identify and resolve process-related issues affecting quality, output, or cycle time.
  • Maintain accurate shift production reports, rework/rejection data, and downtime logs.
  • Assist in line balancing and layout improvement to enhance throughput and takt time.
  • Ensure proper use and upkeep of tools, jigs, gauges, and measuring instruments.
  • Follow SOPs and ensure all operators adhere to defined work instructions.
  • Support implementation of Kaizen, 5S, TPM, and Poka-Yoketechniques to improve productivity and reduce errors.
  • Coordinate with the maintenance team for preventive and breakdown maintenance support
  • Implementing and maintaining: ISO 9001:2015, IATF 16949, ISO 14001:2015, ISO 45001:2018, EnMS 50001:2018, ISO 10002: 2018 and other applicable systems.
  • Awareness of legal and other compliances.
  • Impart on-the-job training to subordinates
