Job Description:

Key Responsibilities

  1. Sales Strategy & Planning
  • Develop and implement a robust national sales strategy aligned with business objectives.
  • Identify new business opportunities, markets, and customer segments.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to drive sales initiatives.
  1. Key Account & Channel Management
  • Manage relationships with modern trade, distributors, wholesalers, and large institutional clients.
  • Ensure growth in penetration, visibility, and sales volume across all channels.
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and promotional schemes with key accounts.
  1. Team Leadership & Development
  • Lead a team of regional and state sales managers, area managers, and sales executives.
  • Define sales targets, KPIs, and performance evaluation metrics for the team.
  • Conduct regular training, coaching, and motivation programs to build a high-performing sales team.
  1. Revenue & Target Management
  • Achieve annual and quarterly sales targets across all product categories.
  • Track sales performance, analyze deviations, and implement corrective actions.
  • Drive initiatives to increase revenue, profitability, and market share.
  1. Marketing & Brand Support
  • Collaborate with marketing and product teams to implement product launches and promotional campaigns.
  • Ensure brand visibility and positioning in key markets and channels.
  • Support trade marketing initiatives for customer engagement and activation.
  1. Reporting & Analytics
  • Prepare and present regular MIS, sales reports, and dashboards to management.
  • Analyze regional and product-wise performance and make strategic recommendations.

Qualifications

  • MBA in Sales, Marketing, or Business Administration (preferred).
  • Graduate degree in Commerce, Business, or a related field is acceptable.
  • Strong knowledge of FMCG / Frozen Foods / Packaged Foods sales and distribution networks.
  • Proven experience in leading national sales teams and driving revenue growth.
  • Proficient in sales analytics, CRM tools, and reporting.
