Assistant Accountant

Job Description:

Job Purpose

To lead and optimize the company’s import/export operations in Singapore, ensuring compliant, on-time,

and cost-effective trade execution while driving profitability and sustainable growth.

He/She works closely with team to understand the trade flows & works with bankers across the globe.

He/She would liase with international Banks for availing trade credit facilities for the company. He/She

should be analytical and well-spoken.

Experience: - 1-3 years

Qualification: - Finance Background, Bcom, MBA

Skill Set – MS Excel, Tally.

Very good Communication is must.

Key Skills

 Maintain basic accounting entries for import and export transactions, including purchase, sales, freight,

customs duty, and C&F expenses.

 Assist in tracking export receivables, import payables, and foreign party accounts.

 Support documentation and accounting related to Letters of Credit (LC), TT payments, E-BRC, and bankrelated transactions.

 Assist in GST compliances for export/import transactions, including LUT and IGST-related entries.

Support accounting and tracking of export incentive schemes such as Duty Drawback and RODTEP.

Coordinate with CHA, freight forwarders, banks, and internal teams for timely documentation and

payment follow-ups.

Assist in bank reconciliation and monitoring of export realization as per RBI guidelines.

Maintain proper records for audits and internal reporting.

Use ERP/EXIM software and MS Excel for data entry and reporting.
