A Heavy Fabrication Manager oversees all shop floor operations, leading teams to produce large-scale metal structures, ensuring projects meet safety, quality (welding, machining, coating), and deadline targets by managing schedules, resources, quality control, process improvements (Lean/Six Sigma)
Key Responsibilities-
- Production Leadership: Supervise daily fabrication activities, manage production schedules, coordinate teams (welders, fitters, machinists), and resolve operational issues.
- Quality & Safety: Implement and enforce stringent QA/QC procedures (welding standards, inspections) and HSE (Health, Safety, Environment) protocols to maintain a safe, compliant, and high-quality output.
