A Purchase Executive/Mechanical Engineer bridges technical needs with procurement, sourcing, negotiating, and buying mechanical parts/equipment, requiring a Mechanical degree to understand drawings (AutoCAD) and specifications, manage vendors, control costs (RFQs, POs, ERPs), ensure quality (QC checks)
- Sourcing & Technical Evaluation: Identify, research, and qualify new vendors for mechanical components, reading engineering drawings (AutoCAD), BOMs, and specs.
- Vendor Management: Develop relationships, negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing, managing performance and ensuring reliability.
