Purchase – Manager / Senior Manager
Job Description:
Location: Chhata. UP.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Strategic Sourcing:
Develop and implement strategic sourcing plans to ensure a cost-effective and reliable
supply chain for raw materials required in the manufacturing process.
Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, negotiate contracts, and establish long-term
relationships with key vendors.
2. Vendor Management:
Oversee the performance of existing suppliers, ensuring adherence to quality standards,
delivery schedules, and contractual obligations.
Conduct regular vendor assessments and implement improvement initiatives to
enhance supplier performance.
3. Cost Management:
Implement cost-effective measures to optimize procurement processes and reduce
overall purchasing costs without compromising on quality.
Analyze market trends, monitor commodity prices, and proactively identify
opportunities for cost savings.
4. Contract Negotiation:
Lead contract negotiations with suppliers to secure favorable terms and conditions,
including pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules.
Ensure that all contracts comply with legal and regulatory requirements.
5. Inventory Control:
Work closely with the inventory management team to maintain optimal inventory
levels, preventing stockouts and excess inventory.
Implement efficient inventory control mechanisms to minimize carrying costs.
6. Collaboration:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, quality control, and
finance, to align procurement activities with overall business goals.

procurement activities.
Conduct regular audits to verify adherence to compliance standards.
8. Continuous Improvement:
Implement continuous improvement initiatives in the procurement process to enhance
efficiency, reduce lead times, and improve overall supply chain performance.
Qualifications and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in BE / B tech – Mechanical / Electronics / Electrical
Proven experience in a senior procurement role.
Strong negotiation skills and the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with
suppliers.
In-depth knowledge of procurement best practices, market trends, and cost management
strategies.
Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
Familiarity with relevant SAP software and technology for procurement management.
Experience 16 to 20 years.
