Job Description:

Position:        Quality Head

Location:         Vapi

Experience:    3 - 5 Years

Industries:      Automobile

Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS) as per IATF 16949 and ISO standards.
• Lead incoming, in-process, and final quality assurance across manufacturing operations.
• Ensure compliance with OEM customer standards, audits, and scorecards.
• Drive defect reduction initiatives, cost of poor quality (COPQ), and zero-defect culture.
• Lead internal, customer, and third-party audits; ensure timely closure of audit observations.
• Oversee PPAP, APQP, SPC, MSA, FMEA, Control Plans, and 7 QC tools implementation.
• Handle customer complaints, warranty issues, root cause analysis, and CAPA.
• Coordinate with production, engineering, supplier quality, and maintenance teams for quality improvement.
• Develop and mentor the quality team; define KPIs and performance metrics.
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.

 Required Skills:

• Strong knowledge of automotive quality systems and OEM requirements.
• Expertise in problem-solving methodologies (8D, Six Sigma, Kaizen).
• Leadership, team management, and strong decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication and customer-handling capabilities.

 Required Qualification: - Diploma/B.E/B.Tech - Chemical
