Quality Engineer (In Process Quality and Final Inspection )
Job Description:
- Inspection & Testing: Perform dimensional checks on parts/assemblies, verify set-ups, and conduct in-process and final audits.
- Problem Solving: Identify root causes of quality issues, manage internal rejections, and drive corrective/preventive actions (CAPA).
- Process Control: Develop/implement quality protocols, monitor production, and manage Statistical Process Control (SPC).
- Documentation: Generate reports, maintain quality records, review blueprints/BOMs, and update the Quality Management System (QMS).
- Collaboration: Work with engineering, production, and suppliers to resolve issues and improve processes.
- Continuous Improvement: Participate in lean initiatives, reduce Cost of Poor Quality (COPQ), and train shop floor teams.
- Education: Diploma/BE in Mechanical/Production Engineering.
