Instrument Technician
Job Description:
Maintain instruments and control loops accuracy.
Installation, commissioning, calibration, and maintenance of pressure, temperature, flow, and level instruments.
Installation and servicing of control valves, actuators, positioners, and accessories.
Perform loop checking, functional testing, and commissioning of field instruments.
Troubleshoot PLC/DCS I/O issues, field transmitters, and control panels.
Carry out fault diagnosis and rectification of instrumentation systems to minimize downtime.
Ensure proper Ex / IS (Intrinsically Safe) practices in hazardous areas.
Maintain calibration records, loop folders, and instrument documentation as per standards.
Coordinate with operations, maintenance, and project teams during shutdowns and plant activities.
Follow plant safety, quality, and compliance procedures at all times.
Support audits and ensure adherence to statutory and internal instrumentation standards.
