Reporting To: Plant Head / General Manager

Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Maintenance Head to lead the maintenance operations in our plastic manufacturing unit. The candidate will be responsible for the upkeep, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and optimization of all machinery, utilities, and plant infrastructure to ensure smooth and uninterrupted production.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Lead and manage a team of maintenance engineers, technicians, and fitters.
2. Plan and execute preventive and breakdown maintenance of plastic processing machinery such as extruders, blow molding, injection molding, printing, and cutting machines.
3. Monitor and maintain utilities like compressors, chillers, DG sets, and ETP/STP units.
4. Ensure minimum downtime and maximize machine availability.
5. Implement maintenance schedules and SOPs.
6. Maintain inventory of critical spare parts and consumables.
7. Coordinate with the production team for scheduling planned shutdowns.
8. Ensure compliance with safety norms, statutory requirements, and audits.
9. Handle AMC vendors and service contractors.
10. Analyze root causes of repeated failures and implement corrective actions.
11. Maintain proper documentation of all maintenance activities.

Key Requirements:

1. Diploma / B.Tech / BE in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
2. Minimum 10+ years of experience in maintenance, preferably in the plastic industry.
3. Strong knowledge of plastic processing machinery (e.g., extrusion, lamination).
4. Excellent problem-solving and team management skills.
5. Ability to work under pressure and handle emergencies.
6. Knowledge of utility and energy management systems.
