Store Officer

Job Description:

• Inventory Control and Accuracy: Manage all incoming and outgoing packaging materials, raw materials, and finished goods. Implement robust inventory control systems to ensure accurate stock records, minimize discrepancies, and conduct regular physical inventory counts and cycle counts.
• Warehouse Operations and Logistics: Oversee daily warehouse activities, including receiving, sorting, storing, picking, packing, and dispatching materials. Ensure the efficient layout and organization of storage space to maximize capacity and facilitate easy retrieval of products.
• Material Handling and Safety Compliance: Operate material handling equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks) safely and efficiently. Enforce strict adherence to safety protocols, hygiene standards, and regulatory requirements within the storage facility to maintain a safe working environment and ensure product integrity (especially for food contact packaging).
• Documentation and Record Keeping: Maintain meticulous documentation for all inventory movements, including Goods Receipt Notes (GRN), Material Requisition Slips (MRS), and dispatch challans. Utilize inventory management software (IMS) or Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems to track transactions and generate reports.
• Coordination and Quality Assurance Support: Collaborate closely with the Production, Procurement, and Quality Assurance teams to ensure the timely availability of materials for production and dispatch. Assist the QA team during incoming material inspections and ensure proper segregation of rejected or non-conforming stock.
