Assistant Manager / Deputy Manager - Project

Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee mechanical fabrication activities ensuring compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.

• Manage maintenance planning and execution for mechanical equipment to ensure smooth plant operations.

• Lead project construction activities, including site execution, supervision, and coordination with contractors and vendors.

• Handle detailed engineering activities such as preparation and review of mechanical drawings, BOQs, and technical documents.

• Coordinate with cross-functional teams (civil, electrical, instrumentation, process) during project execution.

• Ensure adherence to safety standards, statutory norms, and company policies at site.

• Monitor project schedules, manpower deployment, and material availability to meet timelines.

• Provide technical guidance and troubleshooting support during installation, commissioning, and maintenance activities.

Key Skills & Competencies:

• Strong knowledge of fabrication engineering and mechanical maintenance

• Hands-on experience in project construction & site supervision

• Expertise in mechanical detail engineering

• Ability to manage contractors and multi-disciplinary teams

• Good understanding of industrial safety standards

• Strong planning, coordination, and problem-solving skills
