Job Description:
Position: Sr. Executive - Store
Location: Daman
Experience: 3 - 5 Years
Industries: Packaging
Responsibilities:
- Oversee day to day stores operations including receipt, inspection, storage and issue of materials.
- Ensure correct material identification, labelling, binning, and location management.
- Maintain optimal stock levels to avoid production downtime or over-stocking.
- Supervise FIFO/5S practices for RM, PM, Eng spares and consumables.
- Maintain accurate inventory records in ERP
- Monitor stock movement and conduct daily and monthly stock verification.
- Identify slow-moving, non-moving, obsolete, and zero-value spares and initiate corrective actions.
- Ensure proper documentation for GRN, MRS, MRN and scrap disposal.
- Ensure timely availability of engineering spares and maintenance items to support plant
- Coordinate with the Maintenance team for critical spares planning and breakdown support.
- Maintain critical spares list MSL
- Coordinate with Purchase for indent processing and follow-ups
- Work closely with Production Planning to align material availability with production schedules.
- Co-ordinate with Finance/Accounts for inventory valuation, audits, and reconciliation.
- Supervise stores staff, helpers, and contract manpower.
- Allocate daily tasks, monitor performance, and ensure discipline and compliance.
- Train staff on SOPs, safety practices, and material handling procedures.
- Ensure safe handling and storage of materials as per safety norms.
- Maintain proper 5S and hous keeping standards in the stores area.
- Support internal and external audits related to inventory and material control.

Identify opportunities for process improvement, cost reduction, and space optimization.
- Implement best practices in stores management and inventory accuracy.
- Support digitalization and system improvements in stores operations.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of stores operations and inventory control
- Understanding of engineering spares, raw materials, and packing materials
- Proficiency in ERP systems and MS office
- Good coordination and communication skills
- Leadership and team management ability
- Attention to detail and analytical skills
- Knowledge of safety and compliance practices
Required Qualification: - Any Graduation
Salary :- Upto 6.00 LPA
