Job Description:

Position:       Sr. Executive - Store

Location:       Daman

Experience:    3 - 5 Years

Industries:     Packaging

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee day to day stores operations including receipt, inspection, storage and issue of materials.
  • Ensure correct material identification, labelling, binning, and location management.
  • Maintain optimal stock levels to avoid production downtime or over-stocking.
  • Supervise FIFO/5S practices for RM, PM, Eng spares and consumables.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records in ERP
  • Monitor stock movement and conduct daily and monthly stock verification.
  • Identify slow-moving, non-moving, obsolete, and zero-value spares and initiate corrective actions.
  • Ensure proper documentation for GRN, MRS, MRN and scrap disposal.
  • Ensure timely availability of engineering spares and maintenance items to support plant
  • Coordinate with the Maintenance team for critical spares planning and breakdown support.
  • Maintain critical spares list MSL
  • Coordinate with Purchase for indent processing and follow-ups
  • Work closely with Production Planning to align material availability with production schedules.
  • Co-ordinate with Finance/Accounts for inventory valuation, audits, and reconciliation.
  • Supervise stores staff, helpers, and contract manpower.
  • Allocate daily tasks, monitor performance, and ensure discipline and compliance.
  • Train staff on SOPs, safety practices, and material handling procedures.
  • Ensure safe handling and storage of materials as per safety norms.
  • Maintain proper 5S and hous keeping standards in the stores area.
  • Support internal and external audits related to inventory and material control.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement, cost reduction, and space optimization.

  • Implement best practices in stores management and inventory accuracy.
  • Support digitalization and system improvements in stores operations.

 Required Skills

  • Strong knowledge of stores operations and inventory control
  • Understanding of engineering spares, raw materials, and packing materials
  • Proficiency in ERP systems and MS office
  • Good coordination and communication skills
  • Leadership and team management ability
  • Attention to detail and analytical skills
  • Knowledge of safety and compliance practices

Required Qualification: - Any Graduation 

Salary :- Upto 6.00 LPA
