Job Description:

Job Title: Cluster Sales Manager – Prime

Function: Retail Assets / Secured Lending
Reporting To: Regional Sales Head / Zonal Head


Job Purpose

To drive business growth in the Prime segment by managing multiple branches within a cluster, leading sales teams, strengthening channels, and ensuring high-quality portfolio performance across Home Loans, LAP, and other secured retail products.


Key Responsibilities

Business Development & Sales

  • Drive AUM, disbursement, and revenue growth across the cluster

  • Achieve monthly and quarterly business targets for Prime products

  • Identify market opportunities and expand presence in prime catchments

  • Increase balance transfer, top-up, and repeat business

Team Management

  • Lead and manage Cluster Sales Teams (RMs, Sales Officers, DSTs)

  • Recruit, train, and mentor sales staff to improve productivity

  • Conduct regular reviews, performance tracking, and coaching

  • Drive a high-performance, target-driven sales culture

Channel Management

  • Build and strengthen DSA, broker, builder, and referral networks

  • Monitor channel productivity and ensure policy compliance

  • Activate new channels and deepen relationships with existing partners

Credit, Risk & Portfolio Quality

  • Ensure adherence to credit policy and underwriting norms

  • Monitor portfolio health, delinquency trends, and early bucket controls

  • Maintain high-quality sourcing with focus on Prime customer profiles

  • Coordinate with credit and risk teams to ensure smooth approvals

Operations & Compliance

  • Oversee end-to-end sales process from sourcing to disbursement

  • Ensure proper documentation, TAT adherence, and audit readiness

  • Maintain compliance with internal policies and regulatory guidelines

Stakeholder Management

  • Coordinate with Branch Heads, Credit, Operations, Legal, and Collections

  • Provide market feedback and competitor insights to senior management

  • Represent the cluster in internal reviews and strategy discussions


Key Skills & Competencies

  • Deep understanding of Prime Home Loan & LAP products

  • Knowledge of credit appraisal and risk controls
