Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Plant Supervisor to oversee and manage day-to-day plant operations at our plastic granules manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate should ensure smooth production processes, optimal utilization of raw materials and machinery, and strict adherence to quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage overall plant operations including production, maintenance, quality control, and dispatch

• Plan and monitor daily production targets to ensure timely delivery

• Supervise plant staff, machine operators, and shift supervisors; ensure discipline and productivity

• Ensure compliance with quality standards and industry safety norms

• Monitor extrusion machines, grinders, mixers, and other equipment performance

• Handle machine breakdowns and ensure preventive maintenance schedules are followed

• Control raw material consumption (plastic scrap, polymers, additives) and minimize wastage

• Ensure proper segregation, recycling, and reprocessing processes

• Coordinate with procurement, stores, and logistics teams

• Maintain production records, reports, and MIS

• Implement cost-control measures and improve operational efficiency

• Ensure workplace safety, housekeeping, and adherence to manufacturing best practices

Desired Candidate Profile:

• 8–10 years of experience as a Plant Manager / Production Manager / Plant Supervisor in plastic granules / plastic recycling / polymer manufacturing industry

• Strong knowledge of extrusion processes, reprocessing, and granulation techniques

• Experience in handling production planning, manpower management, and plant maintenance

• Knowledge of quality standards related to plastic raw materials

• Good leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills

• Ability to work under pressure and meet production deadlines

Education Qualification:

Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical, Production, Industrial, Polymer Engineering, or related field
