Job Description:
A Quality Control (QC) Civil Engineer ensures construction projects meet design specifications, safety regulations, and quality standards by inspecting materials, monitoring workmanship, and managing testing processes. Key duties include conducting site inspections, preparing Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), and maintaining detailed documentation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inspections: Conduct pre-, during, and post-activity inspections for civil works like foundations, earthwork, and structural elements.
- Material Testing: Perform or supervise tests on materials (concrete, steel, aggregates) to ensure compliance with standards.
- Documentation: Maintain, review, and manage Quality Control documents, including inspection reports, material inspection records (MIRs), and daily logs.
- Non-Conformance Management: Identify, document, and report non-conformities (NCRs) and oversee corrective actions.
- Quality Planning: Develop, implement, and monitor project-specific quality control plans and procedures.
